About Captain Bob

An experienced sailor who grew up sailing the east coast of the United States – from Maine to Key west and the beautiful waters of the Chesapeake, Captain Bob moved to Key West permanently in 2009 and has since then sailed extensively in the Caribbean and the East and West coasts of Florida logging over 32,000 nautical miles on his 46′ sloop Hunter 460.

Captain Bob is also a notary and performs weddings.

In addition, he has a complete photo lab in his van at the Key West Yacht Club where the boat is kept and can supply same day souvenir pictures of your sailing and/or wedding experience.

Bob’s interest in the arts began in his college days, where he was involved in the LaSalle University theater and majored in English and Marketing.

Photography has been a hobby (avocation) since his younger days until more recently when he created a business called “Just Shoot Me” Photos out of Key West, Florida where he lives part time on his sailboat.

The “Just Shoot Me” van can be seen around Key West covering many local events including “Tiger in the Woods” Golf Tournament, the Key West Air Show, the 2013 Conch Fest sponsored by the Rotary Club and many fundraisers, private parties and club events.

Key West was very inspirational due to the large artistic community and the beautiful flora and fauna available and Bob’s photography took a new interest with nature and his focus on butterflies.

Bob is a true modern day renaissance man, from his avid interest in sailing, to photography, to part time chef to producing and performing comedy. His travels throughout the Keys and Bahamas have allowed him to experience a multitude of interest and creativity.
